Took a ride north of Fredericksburg this morning to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. John hiked up the Summit Trail, the Echo Canyon trail, and finally the Loop Trail, about 4 miles. I stayed around the picnic grounds to bird watch.
We then drove the Willow City Loop. We were warned that there was livestock on the road at just about every cattle guard crossing. Saw the serpentine quarry and some very small deer.
Back in town, John dropped into the Bicycle Shop where Larry (Davis) was repairing bicycles.
