We headed south out of Nashville. Beautiful sunny day. Stopped in the Loveless Cafe for breakfast
Biscuits were delicious. Looked at the Belle Meade section of the city. The land use to be part of the Belle Meade Plantation. You can still visit the big house, but we were too early.
We drove around Memphis and crossed the Mississippi into Arkansas. Stopped in the small town of Hope and saw Bill Clinton's home and that of his grandparents.
Drove into Texarkana, which is half in Arkansas and half in Texas. Lots of road construction on I30, but we found the La Quinta and checked in. Not very hungry, so we just went to Burger King for dinner.
By the way, speaking of dinner(at Monell's last night), I forgot to mention that dessert was banana pudding with vanilla wafers in it.
I just tried to download two nights of pictures, but somehow they got erased. I will try again tomorrow night, when we hopefully will have a faster internet connection. Incredibly slow tonight.
